Over two hundred clergy, delegates, and guests attended the 146th Annual Diocesan Convention on Oct. 14-15 at the Spooky Nook Conference Center in Manheim, Pa.

Annual Meeting Information
|
|
Each parish should hold an Annual Meeting of the Parish between Nov. 1 and April 1, prior to the next annual Diocesan Convention. The election of new Vestry members and the election of delegates and alternate delegates to Diocesan Convention is to take place during the annual meeting. The results of these elections are to be submitted to the diocesan office as soon as the elections and take place AND before April 15 of the same year.
PLEASE help us by submitting the information by using the forms listed below. Note: an email address is required for each vestry person/delegate. If a personal email address is not available, please use the parish email address. We no longer use snail mail for diocesan news – email addresses are important for dissemination of the good news!

Urgent Need – Help for Refugee Resettlement
|
|
Urgent need! Our Diocese has been contacted by the Catholic Charities Refugee Resettlement Office in Harrisburg. A larger than typical number of refugees is currently arriving. Recent arrivals are primarily Somali, Congolese, Syrian and Bhutanese Nepali. Most families have been in refugee camps for several years; some folks from Bhutan Nepal have been in camps up to 20 years. Prior to fleeing the war or unrest in their country some were university students or had higher education. They start out here in entry level jobs, often in warehouses. These families have 1-8 children.
